Melton Activities
Regular Girls Talk Sessions are held, which help to educate our members on various topics, including nutrition, exercise and generally how to become healthier. We have monthly cooking demonstrations. These sessions are very interactive, where staff and members come together and cook healthy recipes. Of course the taste testing at the end is an added bonus. Our newest feature, are the fortnightly make over sessions.
Members are encouraged to come along and learn about various topics ranging from skin care, make up application, hair styling, nail care, the list is endless. All members, their friends and family are encouraged to come along and participate.

It's the perfect blend of all of these things you need to get into great shape... to ensure that you can achieve your weight loss goals... the healthy lasting way. The Healthy Inspirations program is unique as it focuses on the key elements for successful weight loss:

"I started at Healthy Inspirations Melton in November 2008, weighing 76kgs. Before starting I tried every diet and my efforts lasted one or two weeks. I even tried diet tablets I bought from China through mail order.I was constantly tired, I didn't want to go out because I felt overweight and never felt comfortable. I was always depressed because my clothes didn't fit me. So when I decided to join I was excited and ready to change my way of life. From the first week I lost 1.8kg and it motivated me to continue.
I have never owned a set of scales and never weighed myself, but knowing I was eating the right foods and exercising three to five times a week made me look forward to my weigh ins. I am now under my goal weight of 65kgs in just 5 months. Through Healthy Inspirations I have learnt all about the food groups and portions I should be eating. The staff have been supportive and genuinely excited when I weigh in and see a loss.
To date I have lost a total of 13.8kgs and 45cm."
