July 2011: Liz D- Lost 16 kg's and 69.5 cm's!
Since my teenage years I have been on almost every diet imaginable with varying degrees of success but I always felt that I couldn’t maintain any changes I had made to my body for an extended period of time. I have always been very active and thought I ate healthily but despite that I weighed a lot more than I wanted to.
At the beginning of 2010 a friend suggested that I come with her to Healthy Inspirations. I must admit it was with a degree of scepticism that I attended my first appointment but the friendly manner and positive attitude of the staff made me feel at ease straight away. I decided it was now or never!
Over the next months I attended regularly and joined in the TBT classes which I found motivating and effective. I couldn’t believe that I actually lost weight, felt fitter and had more energy than I had for a long time. With monitoring using the diary and the continuing support of the staff I found it wasn’t difficult to stay on the program.
My body too is now more balanced. No more hunger pangs and cravings that I previously experienced. Hopefully I have now made permanent changes to my lifestyle and weight. It feels great to go shopping for new clothes – there is a lot more choice available to me!
June 2011: Dolour K- Lost 10kg's and is still going!


Late last year I was struggling to cope with my busy life, I felt tired and frumpy and wanted to feel healthy and more confident. I saw an ad for Healthy Inspirations and decided that it was time to do something for me.
From my first visit I felt that it was a relaxed and supportive environment that encouraged me to do things at my own pace – no lectures, no compulsory meetings and no expensive food plans. The exercise regime was manageable within my busy schedule and was achievable, even though I hadn’t exercised for some time and don’t have an athletic bone in my body!
I know that this is a long term process and I’m completely confident that the team at Healthy Inspirations at Kenmore will support me every step of the way.
MAY 2011 : Bev W - Lost 12.9kg's!

In March 2010, my decision to take control of my weight and fitness was precipitated by three events: Looking at a photo of myself taken 3 months earlier on a trip to South America; a medical issue that meant we had to cancel an extended motor home trip in the US, and, the final straw, when my 4 year old grandson asked me if I “had a bun in the oven”.
As a member of Health Inspirations about 8 years ago, I knew the system and support worked. The weight came off, but I was not quite diligent enough to keep it off. I still ate healthily but, over the years, which included quite a bit of travel, the weight creep just happened.
Once again, the Healthy Inspiration ladies have been very supportive and encouraging, and always cheerful. Between us we set reasonable, achievable goals for me and it wasn’t long before I was feeling stronger, fitter and slimmer. I have finally accepted that there is one category of food that I can enjoy ‘tastes’ of but must not overindulge in.
I also chose to work with Heidi, the personal trainer, at least once a week, and sometimes twice. Heidi taught me how to use my muscles and exercise correctly – with many a good belly laugh along the way. Twelve months down the track I no longer have a ‘bun in the oven’ – in fact I have rediscovered my waistline.
By August I had reached my final goal weight, just in time to visit family in USA for 7 weeks. By carefully watching my diet while in the US, I achieved the impossible – I came home 1kg lighter! No mean feat in the States.
My thanks to the Healthy Inspiration for providing the gym and the moral support that helped make the journey to health and fitness achievable.
We are going motor-homing in USA for 9 months, so it is now up to me, knowing I still have the support of the team, to keep fit, strong and slim. As long as I can remember the 3 D’s maintaining will be possible: Desperation (not any longer), Dedication and Determination (still a work in progress).

From the moment I got off the phone I knew I had made the right decision. I'd been struggling for years to lose the weight I had gained after meeting my husband.
Over a number of years the weight had slowly crept on and each year I made resolutions to lose weight only to be disappointed when I'd put more weight on rather than lose it. Having tried a number of diets without success, I was looking for somewhere that would help me change my lifestyle - diet, exercise, balance and it had to be fun.
I have found that Healthy Inspirations has provided the right support for me to get by lifestyle back on track and I'm now feeling healthier and fitter than I have in years. Thanks to everyone at Healthy Inspirations for keeping me on track to my goal weight.
March 2011:
Cathy T lost 12.4kg’s and is still going…

One Saturday morning I was reading the Local Bulletin and came across an article from healthy
Inspirations asking for women to come in and try a four week diet and exercise survey. I thought ‘ well I can manage four weeks, so I will give it a go’. What could it do for me! Could it get me thinking about what I was really doing with my weight? Well I did it!
I have now been with healthy Inspirations since that time and have had a fun and enjoyable experience both with the wonderful and happy staff who really can’t do enough to encourage and support you as well as the fellow gym girls who really keep me coming in day after day.
I have for a couple of months now, weight just keeps going up and down???. In the past I would have just given up but everyone has encouraged me to keep on going! There are the competitions that keep the gym alive with activity (and sore muscles) as we all try to step out step or chest press each other.
If it wasn’t for Healthy Inspirations I would not have been able to fit into My little red Dress that bought as an inspiration to myself, so it is fitting to have my photo taken in it. Thank you healthy Inspirations

February 2011:
Amanda B lost 14.5 kg's and 51 cm's and is still going!

"I joined Healthy Inspirations after 10 years of wanting to lose weight. I kept on telling myself that tomorrow or next week I would start exercising and watching what I was eating but that tomorrow never came. Eventually ‘tomorrow’ did come when I picked up the phone after seeing an advertisement in a local community magazine. I would have quit in the beginning but the staff and members have been extremely friendly and supportive. A very big thank you to you all!!
It has been a lot of fun and quite an adventure on my journey. I never liked exercising in the past but now I look forward to my circuit sessions. I now look for other opportunities to exercise and don’t try to avoid it as I once used to. I used to think that in being so overweight that I would look out of place or unwelcome at a gym, but it has been the totally opposite experience.
My family coped well with the change in our menu. I have used the Healthy Inspirations weight loss recipes to make our family meals. Often my sons will tell me how great the food is – there has never been a complaint, just requests for the meal to be made again some time soon. I would recommend Healthy Inspirations to anyone who would like to change their life for the better. For me it has been a terrific decision".

Tracey F. Lost 16.3 Kg's and still going!

"I have always had a weight issue and have tried lots of diets in the past but never had the motivation to stick to them and see lasting results. I have suffered from hip and back pain which was made worse from carrying
excessive weight.
At the beginning of 2009 I decided that I enough was enough and it was time to focus on the job at hand. I spent weeks visiting gyms, weight loss clubs and the like but nothing seemed to offer the right motivation for me....
Finally I saw an advertisement for Healthy Inspirations. So, I rang them and made the life changing appointment to see what they had to offer. During my visit I felt extremely comfortable, welcomed and under no pressure. I left to think over my decision and after discussing it all with my family, I signed up!
Now, 10 months on I have lost 16.3kgs and 52cms and feel great. The hip and back pain have gone and I am enjoying clothes again and shopping in normal shops. People keep telling me I look great and between you and me I want to keep hearing it!!!
My success is due greatly to the atmosphere created at Healthy Inspirations and the friendly staff who are always on hand to help.
