Our unique combination of personal support and motivation, on-site exercise and nutritional planning and monitoring in a fun and friendly environment is designed especially for women who are not confident or have not achieved lasting weight loss success in a traditional fitness or weight loss centre.

Many of our centres around Australia have positions available now for part time and full time Lifestyle Consultants. Some centres are recruiting and training managers with extended career potential.

Most centres operate from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm during the week and 7.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays. Lifestyle Consultants generally work at least 20 hours per week up to a maximum of 38 hours per week as required. Rosters include early starts, late finishes, split shifts and Saturday mornings from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm. You must be willing to work on the roster as determined by the centre manager.

Duties include program and product sales to reach set targets, providing member motivation and support to reach weight loss targets, demonstrating the exercise equipment and using it regularly yourself, managing members' paper records and simple computer based administrative tasks using a windows environment, the internet and email. The ability to follow franchise systems is critical.

Employment is by an hourly rate. All staff are required to have, be currently undertaking or be ready to commence a Certificate III in Health and Fitness.

A Centre Manager is primarily responsible for fulfilling the mission of Healthy Inspirations of inspiring women to change their lives. Through embracing the role of 'Brand Guardian' and demonstrating the values of Healthy Inspirations, a Centre Manager is responsible for effective leadership and management of the Centre and the Lifestyle Consultants. By driving a culture of marketing, sales and performance-based outcomes, they will ensure that the goals of the business are continuously met.

A Centre Manager needs to be an energetic and highly self motivated individual who understands the needs of the business, the members and the staff team. They will ensure member service is of the highest standard by demonstrating sales and service skills, through maintenance of the client database, timely client contact and continuously supporting and motivating staff and clients to achieve their desired professional and weight loss goals respectively.

It is expected that ongoing professional development will be undertaken and ideally the manager will have a demonstrated background in the health and fitness industry. A Centre Manager must be comfortable with the role of 'marketing coordinator' and be willing to represent the business in a wide variety of external settings and situations where the brand is being promoted within the community. The ability to meet financial targets, maintain appropriate stock levels and attend to the daily administrative duties of the business using computers is essential.

A more detailed position description will be available at interview with the Centre Director(s). Successful managers may also be invited to consider the position of being a partial owner of the business, depending upon the goals and vision of the individual centre's franchisees.
